1903 Logan-Gregg Hardware Co. Lot of 2 Hardware Hints Advertising Magazines VTG
This lot contains two original Hardware Hints vintage trade journals, dated January 1903 and August 1903, published by the Logan-Gregg Hardware Co. Pittsburgh, PA. Hardware Hints is " a paper devoted to the interests of merchants who deal in hardware."
Both issues are in fairly good condition considering they are 119 years old. The January 1903 issue is missing part of the upper right corner of the cover and several pages (including the cover) have small tears. Both magazines have several light pencil marks on the front cover, as well as creasing, some discoloration, and small tears due to age.
The insides of both issues are clean, readable and collectible, giving fascinating insights into the turn of the century hardware industry. Original vintage ads include Acme Stoves, Enterprise Manufacturing Food Choppers, Otsego Fork Mills, Kampfe Bros. Razors, and Stevens Firearms.
